In my own experience, being and becoming a mom and executive is not for the faint of heart.
When I returned back to work from my first maternity leave in early 2021, I received a promotion and became an executive.
It was exhilarating to be challenged with additional responsibility and have an opportunity to make a broader impact.
Yet, it was stressful, exhausting and lonely, especially as a first time mom and executive.
Sleep deprivation + the demands of keeping baby fed + keeping up with the breakneck pace of work and the new role + pandemic anxiety led to mental and physical exhaustion.
Fast forward to late 2024, after my second maternity leave.
I got clarity that flexibility was a top value in this season of life. With that in mind, I made a decision to leave my executive job to expand my coaching practice.
I created Chief Mama Officer out of a desire to connect with and support like-hearted ambitious moms of young kids and moms-to-be.
Chief Mama Officer is a safe container for us to experience deeper connection, gain insight, and receive encouragement.
It’s a space for us to feel seen, heard, valued, and recognized.
It’s a space for healing and growth.
It’s the community I wish I had back in 2021.
We need each other for support as we prioritize what matters most across our own wellbeing, our families and our businesses.
It’s an honor and privilege to be the founding steward of this community in service to our thriving.
